Was driving from Mtn View to San Jose on CA-85 and I-280 at around 2011-10-02T00:30, and suddenly there are a lot of red lights, and only one lane available on CA-85 South.

A police car is visible, and, after passing a police car, a totally smashed passenger car is hanging off of the divisor, with the positioning being of the opposite direction to the movement of the highway. Wow. Was it going north on CA-85, and jumped all the way onto the south lane?

Really crazy! A lot of red tiny little dots on the road, the police car, and then the shamed car with the opposite direction positioning. Don’t drink and drive, guys! Somehow I’ve never seen this before, even though I drive quite often at night. Wonder what the newspapers would say tomorrow, if this is a worth story to report, or where could I get further details of what’s happened?
